Be Your B.E.S.T.!

Positive behavior choices support learning success!  Kennedy Cubs learn and practice B.E.S.T. behavior expectations in all areas of the school environment. Students know the B.E.S.T. acronym stands for:
B...Be safe and healthy
E...Engage for best learning
S...Show respect for others' learning
T...Treat property with respect

Students at all grade levels are involved in teaching peers about B.E.S.T. expectations through the "Monday Morning Message". These weekly video messages about B.E.S.T. expectations "for students by students" are shown on classroom Smartboards and followed by discussions. Students who are observed modeling B.E.S.T. expectations are recognized at school wide assemblies and are celebrated by teachers and peers.
