I am originally from Albert Lea, MN.  I attended Winona State University, where I received my undergraduate degree in K-12 Physical Education and Pre K-12 Developmental/Adaptive Physical Education.

This will be my 2nd year teaching for Mankato Public Schools.  Overall this will be my 11th year of teaching.  I spent 9 years teaching in Montgomery for the Tri-City United and Montgomery-Lonsdale School Districts.  I also spend 1 year teaching at Ridgeway Community School near Winona.  This school year I will be at Hoover and Kennedy teaching Physical Education.  I also am an assistant coach for Mankato East Baseball.

My wife Nicole and I just moved to Mankato this summer.  We enjoy taking our chocolate lab Macie on walks/jogs.  I like to spend my free time being active by playing softball, volleyball, and basketball whenever I can.  I enjoy watching and following all sports, especially Minnesota sports teams.

I'm very excited to be at Hoover and Kennedy and look forward to a great school year!
